Review Board (CFCRB)



When children are placed in foster care or protective supervision by the Department of Children and Families, it is the responsibility of the juvenile court to hear these cases every 3 – 5 months, in order to assure the safety of these children and to protect the rights of their parents. In Collier County, the dependency court judge shares this responsibility with trained volunteers of the Citizens Foster Care Review Board.
